What We Are About:

Our story began 24 years ago in a small 1500 square foot restaurant in San Fernando Valley California. As native New Yorkers, our father and uncle believed that their Fresh Mexican food concept would be a true hit throughout Long Island. Green Cactus migrated to New York in 1995 and so our story began. With great pride we introduced Long Island to the first FRESH Mexican Experience! 24 years later we remain true to our mission!

As a Long Island family we believe in community and small business. We believe that when you spend your hard earned money with us you deserve to have what you want the way you want!

We apologize in advance if you have to wait a bit longer then some of our competitors ~ your food is made FRESH to order, not made along an ASSEMBLY LINE!

Some of our staff members took that long journey from California to New York 24 years ago. Our staff is like family, we ask that you please be kind to them. They do their best to make your experience the best it can be! If for some odd reason you are not satisfied, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction.
